Proper Tree Pruning

All pruning will be done in accordance with (ANSI) A300 Standards for Pruning and Z133.1 Safety Standards.

Our services include:

Crowns

Crown Cleaning: The selective removal of dead, diseased, broken, or weakly attached limbs

Crown Thinning: Includes crown cleaning, as well as the selective removal of branches to increase light penetration and air movement through the crown and reduce weight where necessary. Proper thinning should maintain the structural beauty and retain the tree's natural shape. Care must be taken not to over-thin, as clearing out too much inner foliage can have adverse effects on the tree and should be avoided.

Crown Raising: Removes the lower branches of a tree in order to provide clearance for buildings, signs, vehicles, and vistas. It also allows direct light in under the canopy for lawn and landscape.

Palm Pruning

Should be performed when fronds, flowers, fruit, or loose peticles may create a dangerous condition, or for aesthetics. It is preferable not to remove live, healthy fronds. If the fronds have to be removed, avoid removing fronds that initiate above the horizontal. The fronds that are removed, should be cut to a short uniform length close to the trunk, without damaging any trunk tissue.

Tree Removal

All work is done in accordance to (ANSI) Z133.1 Safety Standards. Utmost care is taken to protect lawn, landscape, and property; therefore, completing the job in a safe manner. All debris will be hauled away, unless otherwise requested.

Machine grinding of stump and larger roots into a mulch, to an average depth of 7” – 8” below soil level – grindings are backfilled into the stump cavity.

Includes integrated pest management, disease control, cabling, pruning, fertilization, water management and development of improved soil ecology.

Proper tree planting according to industry standards (usually for clay soil) – staking and mulching. Tree care instructions are supplied with planting.

Tree Preservation  

Consultation and planning for construction. This should be the first step taken in a construction project.

Inoculation of soil with beneficial fungi, bacteria, bio-stimulants, soil activators and time-release fertilizers, that are pressure injected into the soil, throughout the root zone.
