Philodendron selloum
Philodendron selloum is from Brazil and is a large tree-like shrub. It
usually has a single, erect stem. The leaves reflect and can reach to
as much as 3 feet in length. The leaves are heavily lobed, dark green,
and glossy. Philodendron produces white flowers but they are somewhat
insignificant and the plant is mainly grown for its foliage. It prefers
shady conditions and will tolerate heavily shaded areas. This plant can
reach as much as 15 feet in height and width. Makes a great accent
plant for a tropical look.
