The Intensia ®Phlox series are the result of a cross between P. drumondii and the native species of Phlox. Intensia ® Phlox has a nice cascading growth habit that is great for borders, hanging baskets, window boxes. The flowers of ‘Lilac Rose’ are a bright pink tinted purple with a darker purple rose and are slightly fragrant. Intensia ® Phlox won honors in the Texas A&M trials last year because of it’s heat and cold tolerance and free flowering form all summer long. This variety is also know for it’s resistance to humidity and mildew. When it becomes overgrown just cut back and it will soon re-bloom. Will reach 8-12” at maturity. Phlox x ‘Instensia® Liliac Rose’ PPAF is a Proven Winner®!
